“When I first walked into David Rhyne’s studio my jaw dropped. It had everything from high ceilings, wooden floors, killer gear, cozy furniture, fab instruments and great sounding microphones. But much more than that… David is an uber talented producer. He is honestly a musical freak. He has a profound understanding of everything from harmony, to the art of songwriting and I’m pretty sure he plays every instrument known to man. I love this guy, (if you haven’t already figured that out) he is truly an angel of a human being. I would recommend him and Traffic Sound to anyone and everyone.”

“Traffic Sound Studio has the big city feel of a high end production facility and the peaceful and intimate setting of the countryside of North Carolina. David is an excellent audio engineer with great gear and a great attitude. He helped to make both our audio and film project shot inside the studio a huge success for the Earl Scruggs Center.”

“Short and sweet… Make it easy on yourself and record with David Rhyne at Traffic Sound Studio. Great sound, because he not only has great gear but he has the “ear”, knowledge and experience to make the project the absolute best it can be. Beautiful, clean, comfortable studio for live tracking and David is also a musician, so he hears things from a couple of different perspectives. He’s way too modest, so I’ll brag for him. He stays up-to-date on the latest trends without abandoning old-school fundamentals. The best!“

“I’ve been producing records for 20 years, working in New York, Los Angeles and abroad and have worked in many studios. Traffic Sound ranks right up there at the top. David is a great guy and very professional. The studio offers everything you need to do quality records. I highly recommend Traffic Sound!!!”

- Rodney Shelton - #1 Billboard songwriter, Producer, Motown recording artist

“When you walk into a studio these days you can pretty much count on seeing the same standard mid to high end recording gear. Sadly though, little attention was paid to the acoustic properties of the recording space as well as the listening environment. This studio is an exception. I was pleased to quickly find that the space can be whatever the session requires. They can be super “live” or quickly transformed into a “tight” recording space. The control room is large enough to accommodate a number of people, and the low end response at the back of the room is the same as sitting in the mix position. Good line of sight as well. Well done!!”

“10 years ago the studio we had happily worked with for years went out of business about a week before we were scheduled to cut vocals on a new project. In a panic I called a friend and he recommended trying David Rhyne at traffic sound. That was probably one of the most beneficial phone calls I have made in my life. The relaxed environment and state of the art facilities companion with the musical genius of David is unparalleled with any studio I have worked with over the past 22 years of recording music. He always goes above and beyond to make sure that we are satisfied with the final product. I’ve done my last seven projects at Traffic Sound and look forward to many more in the future. I wouldn’t send my friends anywhere else.”
